A Pest Control Advisor in the State of California has to be a Graduate of a 4-year college or university majoring in plant sciences. They are required to update their license biannually. Our field consultants are all California PCA's and California CCA's (Certified Crop Advisors). A Certified Crop Advisor has similar requirements to the PCA and are licensed by the American Society of Agronomy. Our crop consultants are extensively trained and have many years of field experience.

Our Crop Advisors realize the sensitivity of today's environment. We analyze and use alternative programs such as biological, cultural control, physical control, harvesting control and many other integrated management systems to insure all possible alternatives are looked at for your crop production. IPM principles and practices including field population monitoring, and treatment of target pests when populations reach economic thresholds are used by all of our field personnel.

Grower Benefit Programs
The Lyman Group makes available to growers, benefit programs such as Crop Data Management Systems, (CDMS) recommendations, CDMS Use Reports, Processor Reports, County Use Reports, field record keeping. CDMS is only available though subscribers keeping recommendations and records in files to reduce any mistakes on reports and recommendations. The system is a very sophisticated system that is updated daily. We make available Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on products that we handle. MSDS's are kept on file and also can be accessed from many basic manufactures web sites .
